Active 16-port GNSS/GPS signal splitter with 10dB gain
GNSS-RAS-16 from Roger-GPS is engineered for GNSS/GPS signal distribution in critical environments where a high density of GNSS receivers are located.
One input connector and 16 output connectors (SMA).
Covers upper and lower L-band (1.15 GHZ to 1.63 GHz).
Fully redundant dual power supply system. Can work with one or two power supplies.
Intuitive LED indicators monitor antenna current consumption and power supply units (PSUs), facilitating quick and efficient troubleshooting.
Output ports are DC loaded with 200-ohm resistors to simulate antenna current draw, preventing false antenna alarms in connected receivers.
Shelf mounted or rack mounted.
- 10 dB gain to all output ports.
- Flat group delay – critical for GNSS timing purposes.
- Antenna IN port supplies +5V DC to external antenna via the cable.
- Excellent isolation between output ports.
Installation
The chassis has four rubber feet, for placing securely on a shelf – it doesn’t slide around when touched.
A rack mounting kit is supplied, with brackets for left and right sides, to enable installation in a standard 19″ rack.
Power supplies
GNSS-RAS-16 comes with two external AC/DC power supplies.
They are external to save space inside the chassis, and to minimise the potential effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI) that could occur if they were inside the chassis.
AC mains plugs can be UK 3-pin, EU 2-pin or US 2-pin.
The splitter will run on one power supply if necessary, so that failure or disconnection of one PSU will not cause the splitter to power off.
Can be powered from a local 12V DC supply – the AC/DC PSUs are replaced by a 1 meter DC cable.
Optionally, can be supplied by one AC and one DC supply.
